OVERVIEW: My first goal here is to make a more “family” group like environment at Coach’s for the employees. Think of MC culture-without the motorcycles—though cool if players have one. While people might still come and go, and they always tend to in a bar environment, and some may work sporadically, I’m hoping for a more close-knit inner core and maybe get people to stay. We don’t have to be a big group, even just a handful of folks would be good, so even during slow times we can have our own inner RP’s to worry about. We’ll protect each other, share resources, etc. I would like to be sure that “employees” feel a bit of autonomy and part of something within, someplace where they belong. This might be something that in a regular urban/other RP scenario may not work so much, since a job is a job, but here we are striving to survive. My second goal is to create enough small side plots that involve other factions and groups outside of Coach’s. While it might be fantastic if we were truly completely self-sufficient, that is counterproductive to furthering and fomenting rp on the sim as a whole. Suggestions for storylines and sideplots for the group that involve others are very welcome, and I will work on creating those too. Ideas for bigger plots that we can help the sim with are also very welcome. And while everyone is encouraged to join on in the larger plots, and I would do everything possible to further them at the bar, even if it’s just to discuss and spread the gossip, I also feel that smaller inside plots are necessary to maintain interest.

EXPERIENCE: I have been in SL since 2005 (2007 with this Avi), and RP has been my main thing since before SL. I have been admin in several sim, mentor, I’ve given RP workshops, I also put in time at Greeter Island on my main av as a Linden Greeter. Most of all, I’ve almost always worked in a bar or owned a bar. I love the bars/pubs in SL. People gravitate to them, you get to meet to many people and have great opportunities for RP. It’s also a great way to meet and greet new players and help them find their footing on sim, and show them that yeah, we got RP here!
