Born to a Native America Mother and White-Irish father, Kyiel Turner is the oldest of 2, having a younger brother Ronan....separated by 8 years of age. After their parents died in a car accident, Kyiel and Ronan would be cared for by their mothers' VERY immature sister Lynn. This would in include a commute from a Hopi reservation in Arizona to the busy city of Seattle, WA. Lynn was the type of woman that preferred to spend her money on cigarettes, alcohol and bad hair-dos...and is somewhat of a hippy, neglecting her native american heritage.

Fed up with playing parent to her Aunt, Kyiel would enroll in the Peace Corps for 5. During her travels, she'd earn her 4 year degree in General Studies, practice freelance photography, and keep in touch with Ronan, via postcards, and letters..and phone calls off and on.

Her last place of resident was in the Florida Keys, where she continued her photography hobby, and worked part time at a homeless shelter as an Assistant Coordinator. It was there she noticed that some of the tenants of the shelter were getting sick...and acting strangely.

Now in Arklay, Kyiel spends her time organizing and attempting to run the hardware store...S-Mart. When not there, she's out scavenging alone, or with her brother.
