The island has long been overrun, the bridge has collapsed and escape is more or less impossible (same as last year's event). The last few remaining survivors struggle to live, with almost no food, no more civilization. To make matters worse, a hurricane hit the island the previous night, causing horrible wind, rain, lightning and low visibility.
Late into the morning a noise echos through the island over the sound of the storm, heavy blades beating on air as a helicopter flies overhead, flying low and trying to scout out any living people among the sea of dead. The survivors see their chance, emerge from their hiding spots in the remnants of Arklay and begin to frantically seek out something to signal the helicopter down with... Because lets be honest, it will run out of fuel, and there's only so much room on board...
This marks our second annual Halloween event (yay Outbreak)! For four hours, everyone will become a zombie, and a select few survivors (chosen by staff / weavers) will be chosen to fight their way to escape, these survivors can be based off your actual character or be whatever you want them to be, just keep it realistic, and remember... nothing that happens during this event will have an effect in day to day RP (if you die your character wont be dead).
The survivors will be required to find a flare in one of Arklay's abandoned shops, make it to the top of the mountain, and signal a LZ for the helicopter for rescue. Only ONE person can make it out alive, which means the event will quite possibly end as a bloodbath. All while avoiding player controlled biters, mother nature and possibly a flood.
Note: This is an 'alternate reality' type event, if Arklay were to fall to the infection sometime in the future, everything that goes down in this event is just for fun and will in no way impact the actual story.
Post bellow if you are interested in playing a survivor, 5 or 6 people will be chosen by random dice roll.
In Soviet Russia, you no make story arc... story arc makes you.
