Some folks are super sticklers on weapons.  I've talked to some people here that are either RL gun aficionados or just know stuff.

I know nothing.   So, I went on Youtube.com so I could do a little research since my character is supposed to be learning and now a bit more knowledgeable about certain types of weaponry.

RL I'm not entirely ignorant, but I know enough to know I know nothing.  Like... I've never even gone paintballing.  Yet I come from a long line of military, been married to someone in the military, my grandfather reloaded his own shells in the basement, my uncles hunted, my brother and his ex-wife both went to LE school, even my mom can shoot, but I was never interested, never listened, never touched.  While they went trap shooting I collected clay pigeons.

So... I go to YouTube.

First one I looked up?  The crossbow.  Kali does have a gun, and she's bought a rifle thing (hah!) from the Peckerwoods, and is thinking of buying something a bit more highpowered from ATC, but, I thought the crossbow was "cool" and thought of getting one.  So okay, I looked that one up first - and I found out that much to my surprise reloading that sucker is not fast, it's not super easy either, and if I wanted to take down 2 or 3 I would suck.  A bow and arrows might be much, much faster, but probably not as powerful (I had done that, you know... in high school, on one of those days I didn't skip gym)

I looked up other guns too, like the one Kali currently carries and most of those were a bit more cut and dry.  Turns out there are TONS of videos on guns, so instead of posting a whole list of videos, I'm just gonna suggest you look up yours, if you are not one of these gun aficionados or experts on sim.  You'd be surprised at what you learn.   I learned you can cook bacon on an AK after 3 magazines.
