Well, so far so good. This new town I have found seems to be filled with a wide array of people, and they even have job opportunities for people like me! I am still a little wary of meeting new people, doesn’t seem to be my strongest suit, but I will keep trying… I did meet a nice women named Emi, she is a manager at the diner, and was so kind, even gave me a free meal on the house! She may never know how greatful I am for that act of kindness, and I didn’t realize how hungry I had become till I held that bowl of chili in my hands.  Another kind gentleman named Dom showed me the Hospital, where I was able to rest and felt safer then I have in years. I wish my husband could be here, he would know exactly what to do, exactly how to make our way on this island, be able to guide me on how to fit in…. but hopefully he is safe, and we will meet again soon. Hey a girl can dream right, even in these our darkest days, there still has to be some hope….right….
